Jessica & Brian Aghajani have each been involved in IGP dog sport since their twenties. Both have titled multiple GSDs to IGP3 and competed at USA national championships. Brian began photographing championship level IGP competition ten years ago and has photographed more than 50 championships including world championships. This will be the fifth year for them as the photography team for the AWMA National Championship.
Shelby's passion for dog photography began during the COVID pandemic when she bought her first camera to capture foster and working dogs. This initial experience ignited a deep love for capturing the unique personalities and stories of these incredible dogs.
Soon after, she was introduced to the exciting world of dog sports, starting with Mondioring and PSA seminars and trials. Since then, she’s expanded into adding French ring, IGP, American Schutzhund, and WDA into her experiences. Over the years, she’s covered dozens of trials across these sports, including six world championships for Mondioring and six national championships across Mondioring, PSA, and IGP.
Last year she ventured into videography and fell in love with the challenge of learning a new set of skills and a different modality of story telling. Capturing special moments and creating memorable compilations that showcase the strength, dynamism, and unique bond between dog and handler is her primary goal at every event!
She is excited about the opportunity to work alongside the best in IGP Photography to provide competitors with the best all-around memories from this event.
